unpleasant fridge

absolutely NOT what i expected. my fridge wasn’t even cold enough to keep my sand fresh, really? and why was the annoying, dust-covered fan buzzing all night? as a much esteemed guest, i thought a complimentary upgrade would be in order after these disasters. disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Kabin Taka offered a great experience with its modern and stylish design. The spacious studio provided easy access to self-service amenities, which added to the convenience of my stay. I particularly appreciated the excellent location on a quiet street while still being close to main shopping areas and famous Kyoto sights. The cleanliness was top-notch, and I enjoyed the fantastic rain shower with perfect water pressure.

Lack of 24-hour front desk security.

Staying for 4 nights, my experience was mostly positive despite a few drawbacks. The room was spacious and equipped with great amenities, making it comfortable for me and my two teenage boys. I appreciated the self-service aspect with the amenity carts available on each floor. However, the lack of daily room cleaning was unexpected and felt less like a hotel experience. We enjoyed exploring nearby attractions like Nishiki Market and Yasaka Shrine, which were conveniently within walking distance.
